I am currently on b/c pills and take them consistantly and during the same time frame every night. On Jan. 1 I got a UTI and my doctor prescribed Macrobid. I took it for the full two weeks and I started my placebo pills on the 7th of Jan and got a normal period. I continued taking another pack of pills and I just recently got a period on Tuesday, but it was alot heavier and only lasted for 2 days. I have suffered from pregnancy symptoms for about the past three weeks-VERY nauseous during the nights, swollen and enlarged breasts, constipation, bloating and etc. I first just thought it was PMS, but it still has not gone away and keeps getting worse. I have taken two HPT's about 5 days ago, but they both were negative. Is it to early to test and may i be pregnant?

I was on birth control and took anti-biotics......now I'm 25 weeks pregnant. Anti-biotics have a cancelling effect on birth control, so you should take a test.

That is possible as antibiotics cancel out birth control. Pretty much if you are on antibiotics and take birth control you might as well not even take the birth control because they cancel each other out.

Antibiotics cancel out the pill. Pee on a stick.
