they are pretty decent not too bad and not too good.

A very cheap brand PC...

Go for Sony or Dell.

Gateway is plain cheap and wothless piece of trash. That's why school give them away for free to kids.

So many PCs these days are being sold these days that just about every maker has a cheap PC. Later down the line though, upgrades are a little bit more necessary for the cheaper PCs of today.

We try to research for cost today and the cost of an upgrade next year, and then decide what to buy.

I have 3 computer degrees.....Wanna know what cheap is...emachine! True, Sony IS awesome, but you are going to pay for the name....gateways are just as good as Dell

Cheap? Sure there price isn't bad but that goes hand in hand with their reliability.
