what is the lowest common multipul for 72 and 200

First find the factors of each one.. take ALL of the common factors and then each of the not common factors...

72 = 2*36= 2*2*18=2*2*2*9=2*2*2*3*3
200 = 2*100=2*2*50=2*2*2*25=2*2*2*5*5

common factors = 2*2*2
not common factors = 3*3 and 5*5
take them together.. and get 2*2*2*3*3*5*5=10*10*18= 1800
