I hav a laptop...acer aspire 5584...with windows vista preloaded in it...
how to create a recovery disc just in case anything happens to my laptop??

usually brand new pcs come with a partition on the HD with irecovery files. and u can make a copy using the software.

I recommend you to use Acronis True Image Home. True Image can make a bootable disk so even after any disaster you can perform a full recover of your PC. I think True Image is the best backup software on market for now. True Image works fast both while backing up data and while restoring it. I bought my laptop from dell and they did't send me a backup of my OS either. Once I called them up I recieved them the next day. Basically the companies want to save money by not sending them with the product since most people will try to reinstall them again even though its already loaded. I say you should just call up the company who u bought your computer from(not walmart) and ask for them. They shouldn't charge u anything for them since they were yours to begin with.
