Then why do so many people have it. People I know that own them say they fall apart easily and the battery always fall out, the numbers fall off etc. So should I not get it?

it really depends on how you take care of the thing. I treat my rzr phone like a baby. It has scratch proof plastic covering, i clean it every week. IF there is scratch on the metal face i repair it asap, and so on. i love it because it is really slim. the new v3i is better because it has the same slimm'ness' and better options but it is really a handy phone. i still have mine for 2 years going. i'll never give it up until a slimmer phone comes along.
if you treat the phone bad, it'll die out fast. take care of it and you'll let it live long.

A couple of my friends have them and the look cool, and they don't have any problems with it it is a nice phone and really slim!

And it is missing so much functionality.
Phones are for communicating not for looking cool!!!!!!! How stupid
Just stick with a Nokia and you cannot go wrong. If you have $$$ get a Blackberry

it's not that bad actually.
in fact the battery life's pretty good.
and the fact that it just looks damn cool isn't really a problem either.
