Kool Parent or Classic Parent?

Survey- Remember when you we're little (like 11 or 13 year old) your parent do NOT let you do anything like nose piercing, waxed your eyebrown, let you put on make-up & all that. But look at kids now, you see 12 year old girl that got nose piercing & make-up on, and guys that barely turn 10 get thier left-ear pierce. You think in the future kid will rule over the world? LoL

I always said I was going to be the "Kool" mom, but now that I actually am a mom, I can't imagine letting my son get away with even half the crap I got away with! So I guess I'm going to be the dorky "Classic" parent!
But seriously, if everyone was lenient on their kids, what would happen years to come? I think it's more important to focus on raising well adjusted people, rather than trying to be their friends. Kids will have plenty of friends growing up, their parents do not need to be one of them.

I like classic parent but I dont know really if they will rule over the world ,it's more likely to happen if things go on like this ..

LOL honey when I was 11 we didnt think about putting holes in anything but our ears.

OH and I love how the parents let their little girls wear saying on the butt of their clothes, i feel like saying how much you pimp her out for, free advertising works!

My mom was cool, at 15 I had my ears pierced 7 times, and let me wear what I liked. I was lucky.

Parenting is decreasing with every generation. I guess it's human nature. Evolving. I have the most perfect niece, Jordyn. I love her parents and they're really cool, but she is surrounded by other children who, who knows who their parents are.
