He definately won't go in the first round, but it would be incredible if he would slip past the 3rd.

There are too many NFL teams who are "risk takers" who would gladly spend a third or even late second round pick on a Heisman player like Troy Smith. It isn't likely but he could be the steal of the draft.

Troy Smith will not go in the first round of the draft.

Especially after his performance in teh BCS Championship. Despite winning the heisman, he is still a 2nd to 3rd round pick at best. I can see him going late in the second or early in the third so your bet should cash.

You wll probably win your bet. I would have made the same bet you did.
I am a gigantic buckeyes but I still don't think that Troy will go in first round. I will be surprised if he falls to day two however. This isn't a bad year for quaterbacks (I think that's why Brennan went back to Hawaii for another year) which should push Smith out of round one. I think he is 5th best QB in the draft.

These people who agree with your bet are CRAZY!!! Sorry but that was a HORRIBLE bet. How can you make a bet like that. I aint a fan of his but he's to good. He's not a 1 2 or 3 overall. He is,though, 1 round. Your not getting no 50 bucks this year pal. sorry.

well i feel that he shouldnt go in the 1st round. he isnt a top 15 pick for sure, but a team like baltimore might grab him in the late first round since mncair isnt getting any younger. but i would be shocked if troy went in the first round.

I would bet in the real NFL draft he will go in the first round. I would doubt that he would go in the first round of a fantasy draft. However someone could surprise me. Hope this helps.

I'd expect that Brady Quinn and JaMarcus Russell will be the only QB's taken in round 1

Yeah, he'll more than likely go in the first found. Check ESPN.com for Mel Kipers Big Board. Plus someone will get him just so he DOESN'T go in the 2nd round to a good team.

He will Be a very Late First rounder.... Depending on Who needs him more, the Ravens could be a likely canidate with the ageing steve mcnair, and no good backup (Kyle boller???) and the bears could take him, if they decide to cut kyle orton, and not sign a true veteran such as Jeff Garcia or Jake Plummer
