I won an Ebay auction & paid with PayPal plus credit card. But have not recieved my item yet. When I contacted the seller I was told that the item had been returned to them by USPS. They had used the wrong address. What I need to know is if I do not recieve this item, do I have any recourse through Ebay other than leaving negative feedback? Please advise if you can. Thanks much! :)

You need to log into your paypal account and click on that particular auction. File a complaint stating item not recieved and paypal will require an action on the sellers part. If they do not repond within 10 day (i think) you will automatically get refunded. If they do respond, the will likely issue you a refund. If you used a credit card, you can call your credit card company and file a request for refund as well. They will tell you the process to do that but I would start with paypal and ebay. You can go to the ebay auction and file a complaint as well. Try requesting their personal info...that motivates some to issue a refund. If you just leave negative feedback then you eliminate your leverage for getting them to issue a refund. Once you've given them a negative ....whats the point of sending you a refund. Good Luck!

There snothing you can do except leave feedback and contact Ebay, but they really cant do nothing either, always check the sellers feedback b4 u buy, and never buy anything to expensive. Once u have paid someone over the net ur money is gone you then basically have to trust them, thats it/. I have paid for and not recieved items to, the seller just has to say "Its not my fault it got lost in the post" thankfully mine were only around 10-20 dollars. I would never give hundreds over the net to anyone. People just have to make a new account and they can rip u off again, be carefull, hope it was just a mistake for ur sake. Cheers.

please do as OPEN BOOK ADVISORS tells you!

feedback is the LAST thing to worry about.

however, when you DO get your refund, either from PAYPAL or your CREDIT CARD company, THEN leave the appropriate feedback!

very smart of you to use that CREDIT CARD! it gives you the most and BEST protection on ANY purchase on ebay!

remember your filing deadlines. don't let the seller drag you past them with email claims of "it's in the mail", "it should be there any day", blah, blah, blah.
