That is a stereotype. No, Hoop earrings aren't ghetto plenty of people wear hoop earrings from all different backgrounds. It depends on how you wear them and the size of the hoops.

That is most definitely a stereotype, because any type of clothing, or jewelry, even make up, depending on how you style it, can be labeled "ghetto",or just, "bad taste", it is a matter of personal taste, choice, or opinion. We all have a "look", we are trying to achieve, do not look too much into what someone else thinks, use logic, keep it simple and clean.

I think small, dainty 14kt hoop earrings are stylish looking. The BIG cheap hoop earrings are tacky
