Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating plus it keeps track of your periods & much more. It is a free and very helpful site.
It helped me understand about when i will be fertile.
The fertile days of the month depend on the length of your cycle, how many days 21, 23, 28 and so on & that is why you should really go to that website to find out.

You ovulate 14 days before your period. If you have fairly consistant cycles, you can figure out when that is. Keep in mind if you are trying to conceive, space out sex every two days around that time. You need to give your partner's sperm time to recover :) Every other day during your fertile week is the best way to go.

its about 2 weeks after the first day of your period! i suggest go to askdramy.com and it would tell you YOUR most fertile days by typing your period info! thats what i went by! and i got pregnant within a month!

Right after your period and u can also take ovulating tests.

It is after, you should search for an ovulation calendar online to get an approximate date.
