Westerners are very spoiled people and we want to get our way here and now. The struggle we are in is going to be a long an tough one unless we decide to act like ruthless brutes. We don't want to do that either because we like to think of ourselves as nice, decent and sophisticated people who are above certain things. So if things aren't going well enough, fast enough we blame the guy at the top. But there is only so much the guy at the top can do especially without the support of so many of his people, he is not God after all. Then you have the political opportunists who don't care if the President is doing what is good for the country, they only care that he is having a tough time so that they can capitalize on it and blame it on his party affiliation.

It wont be until 20 or 30 years down the road when he will achieve greatness. Its the idiots that still believe he went to war on a lie. So did hillary Clintons own investigation of her trusted sources lie before she cast her vote? That goes for the same as Kerry, Kennedy, Dodd, Richarson, Dean, and a host of others, who voted only after they said they looked into the intel! You also have to look at the idiots that solely blame Bush, but ignore, russia, China, England, France, and Germanies Intel, who also said Wmd's were there. The idiots never look back to the 1980's war between Iraq and Iran. Iran used to be our friend, but in 1979 they took 52 American hostages, and held them for 444 days. When the two went to war; WE supplied Iraq with WMD's in the form of rockets to launch biological and chemical weapons! THATS JUST THE FACTS. The liberal media has done a Mind **** on the idiots, and they still claim it was a lie. The last fact and if you've read the cease fire from 1991, it stated if the inspectors are kicked out and or not allowed free access throughout Iraq, then we could go back in any time and finish the job. Your BOY Clinton let resolution after resoultion slip by. I'm sick of the idiots that cant back up facts. those idiots are the same cowards who would give up everything this country stands for, just so they wont pick on them. Bush will be afforded his due, but it'll be years down the road. too bad there's so many UN AMERICANS here!

I've been noticing that many people's answers that simply state true facts about Bush, but fail to bash him get thumbs down around here. They don't even have to support him, just fail to bash him. It's like there is an expectation to hate Bush as much as they do, and if you don't, then anything you say is invalid, including non-opinionated facts. Just keep an eye out and see if you notice it too.

So many reasons, so little time...

Ok, let me begin. I didn't blame 9/11 on him (although, let's be honest, him and his people acted weird that day) until he repeatedly blocked investigations into 9/11...why did he do that? http://www.mikehersh.com/printer_Bush_and_Cheney_Block_911_Investigation_.shtml
Investigations didn't start until months and months later, long after most of the debris aka evidence had been shipped off and destroyed.

He then created a faith based presidency to where you are either "with him or with the terrorist". Blind faith is scary and is exaclty what we are supposed to be battling in the middle east in the form of religous extremism. His rhetoric asks us not to think at all and just believe him...ummm no. That is not the purpose of democracy.

The Patriot Act stripping us of our civil liberties...strangely enough this thousands of pages long bill was neatly packaged and on our lawmakers desk within a few weeks of 9/11...hmmm...that is convenient.

The recently passed Military Commissions Act which dismantled Habeous Corpus as we know it...very very scary.

The repeated lies regarding Iraq and our reasons for going in there. WMDs, etc

The fact that Bush's war has taken out of power one of the only secular leaders in the middle east in Sadaam. Even though he wasn't a nice man...he did not tolerate religous extremism in his country. Now...we have destabalized the middle east and actually created the safe-haven of terrorism we were supposedly fighting.

Tax-cuts for the rich, while wanting to strip services for the poor, and the children. The rich aren't hurting for money...turn on any reality show that shows 16 yr old girls having million dollar birthday parties...it will make you sick. (Sweet Sixteen on MTV, Daddy's Spoiled Little Girl on E!, etc). Not all poor people are unemployed...I'm poor because I am going to school to hopefully make a better life for myself.

Oh yes, I almost forgot...taking advantage of the religous right and turning their otherwise tolerant belief system into a militant group of gay/women/minority hating group of people. WWJD?

Check out www.st911.org you will find many more reasons to hate him on there.

I don't *hate* him, but I do strongly agree with much of what he represents. Mostly I dislike that, when we learned there were not WMD's in Iraq, he didn't pull us back out--now we're mired in a war that has cost more American lives than 9/11 (and far more Iraqi lives). I dislike that so many of our rights were lessened (like that wire-tapping business) with the passage of the Patriot Act. I dislike that he doesn't mind us keeping terrorist suspects in Guantanamo Bay without giving them their constitutional right to a speedy trial or to a lawyer. I dislike that he doesn't listen to the rest of the world (in the form of the Geneva Convention or the U.N.) or to his own country when we consistently protest this war. And I dislike his support of big business over the working class.

But *hate?* Hate is a strong word.

His arrogance is second only to Cheney's. This would be OK if it did not lead to a lie based war in Iraq which has killed tens of thousands and cost hundreds of billions.

If you want to ruin your own life, that is fine by me. When you, as president, ruin other lives behind a fallacy, I get a little perturbed.

Represents our country well? Are you kidding me?
1. The guy can't string two coherent sentences together...
2. Took the US from surplus funds to record deficit...
3. Bankrupted the State of Texas as governer, by the way...
4. Hid in the Air National Guard to avoid Viet Nam (coward)
5. Took the worldwide support of our allies after 9/11, and turned it into hatred of our country...
6. Lied the US into Iraq...which drains billions of dollars annually and puts military at unwarranted risk for a country that represents no real value to US interests...
I could go on...and on...and on

Not everyone hates him. Almost half of America voted for him. Not once but twice. Hope you know what you're doing. Coz you will have to think about what you've done.

truthfully, i dont think everyone hates george bush. if they truly hated him, he would not have been our president. i think most people dont like him because the way he presents himself is not very appealing. it may not be his fault, but he messes up his speech, it doesnt always seem like his thoughts are organized, and sometimes just seems like he is inept. I dont like him personally, because i feel he made some bad choices, but then again, you cant say that someone else could have handled it any better. Most people think he isnt fit to be president becuase he seems foolish at times, but he may really be really smart.
