Right now I just want my Jill to come home. She's a 1 year old Ferret and has been missing for over 24 hours now. I have 3 ferrets altogether (with Jill) and a cat.
I would also like a Wallaby, I think there cool.

i have sugar gliders. i thought they were the coolest thing in the world. they probably still are but it doesn't seem like it anymore. i've had them for two years and although it's quite simple to take care of them every night, it seems like a huge inconvenience. i have a st. bernard now and he has been incredibly easy to control. after, i promise, no more than 2 weeks, he didn't piss or anything in the house. he's only chewed up pretty much nothing (the corner of my dresser a little and he got ahold of my directtv remote). i expected him to do so many bad things but he's done nothing and i assume that's how all st. bernards are. he is incredibly smart, i can't even begin to explain. they're the best animals for sure....he's only 5 months old and weighs 58 pounds.

we act as a "foster home" for pets waiting to be adopted, usually those with special needs; so we have different pets, different times.
but the "pets" i consider "mine" are the wild birds i feed daily. this winter i've diary-ed 39 different types, including the migrating birds. i feed them in a relatively small area, so i can see many at one glance. the odd thing about that though -- it was kind of a trade off. since the birds feed together, usually with very little rivalry, they do not "sing" to declare their territory. so although i see more, i hear less.
living near a river, lake and national forest brings all kinds of creature visitors to our home, but the birds are my favorite.

A cat! It's always a cat with me. I've owned rats, dogs, birds, cats and fish... and I've always found the cats best of all. When a cat shows love, it's for real. Dogs do it for food.

a hedgehog. After lots of different types of pets (we have 5 right now) our hedgehog is the BEST! I was reluctant to get it but now I'd never get rid of it!
