well with a two year old and a 11 month old you have your fair share of stress which can cause you to miss a period. Since you have already had children if you don't have the symptoms that you normally do then I would wait until the end of the month to see if you have had one in feb. if not take another test, or go see your obgyn.
hope that helps!

As we age, our periods start becoming more irregular. It's probably not an abrubt start to menapause, just the beginning. A late or early period, a skipped period now and then, until it eventually stops. A blood test can tell where you stand, and other reasons for menstrual irregularities should also be explored, so it's time for a trip to the dr. Your health needs also change when you begin menapause, so it's important to speak with a doctor about those changes. There may be changes in your body you never even knew about, my mom developed asthma along with menapause, apparently it's not uncommon, but she's even a nurse and had no idea the two could be related! It's also a good time to discuss things like bone density, cholesteral, blood pressure, the pros and cons of estrogen replacement, and any other concerns you may have.

I would do another home test just in case the first one was inaccurate and if still negative would see my doctor just to make sure. Your period being late could be due to stress or some other reason, not pregnancy. Are you still breastfeeding 11 month old daughter? Hormones while breastfeeding or weaning from the breast could disrupt your cycle. Good luck!

Being your third pregnancy and not two far from your last baby, you could be. It can take up to 2-3 weeks for a home pregnancy test to be positive. Keep taking them, and if you get the symptoms, soar breast, morning sickness, light cramps.. etc.. if your not, you should consider getting your tubes tied, or an IUD..

i once talked to an expert witness ob/gyn who told me that over the counter pregnancy tests are just as good as a doctor test, but you need to know a couple things. unless you take one of those "early" tests, you will not test positive for at least 28 days. also, you can have a "false" negative, but never a "false" positive on a stick test.

Test again, if the tests still show negitive, then i would suggest you visit your doc, and find out if there are anyother underlying issues besides pregancy that are causing a delayed period.
