Your best friend, your love, the person who you can always trust, the person you care for more deeply then anything, the person you would do anything for.

Best definition I have for Soul Mate is someone who you connect with immediately and know that you want to spend the rest of your life with. My partner and I found each other 3 years ago and after 2 relationships, one 7 year and one 13 year, it is more than apparent to me that we are Soul Mates. We love everything about each other, we share emotionally, physically and mentally. We are bonded, even when we are apart. There is an undying trust that comes with Soul Mates, maybe you should look deep into your heart and see if you feel the connection with the woman who has taken you into her soul.

You can have more than one soul mate, and it may be that none of them is, or was ever meant to be, your partner or spouse. Being a soul mate has nothing whatsoever to do with sex or exclusivity. It relates to lasting friendship more than to marriage or romance, the term is just often misused. Don't worry if your ex calls you her soulmate, but don't tell her you don't believe in soulmates - tell her she's NOT your soulmate - someone else is.

soulmates have a connection that is not earth bound..... it is made in a dimension that few really understand.... ... soulmates have a connection that means no matter how faw apart they are they are always together.... its like floating on the same astral plane.... its about knowing what the other is feeling without having to ask...... its a 6th sense that something is wrong without hearing the words. its a connection that is strong and stays strong even through hard times. ..... you dont have to be lovers..... you dont need to be lovers...... true soulmates have an understanding much more powerfull than any other relationship on earth...... and true soulmates both feel the connection..... for someone to say you are their soul mate you have to feel it too....... if you dont then its not true soul mates. anyone with a sould mate will understand

there are some really angry people here .just mention the word"soulmate" and watch the fireworks .i wonder why the idea of believing in the possibility that there is someone for everyone, and if they find each other, they will have one hell of a great life together ,is so irritating to some people. now, i dont personally use the term , nor do i actually have a soulmate. but i do think that the world is a little better because of the possibility. lighten up people.and to those of you who took the time to give a positive spin to the idea, good for you. you will probably find some real happiness in this life

A soul mate is someone who thinks like you. My husband and I very often have the same thoughts at the same time. Also its someone who you could never imagine being without. In other words someone who means the whole world to you and they feel exactly the same abouth you.

no i do not. human beings in basic terms ensue to love one yet another and they could have in basic terms as probably cherished some different person with an same characteristics. that is what i imagine a minimum of... nicely, not quite everyone seems that this way, yet i'm certain maximum folk of the international is, and that makes it pretend that soul associates surely exists because we may all have one if there have been briefly, i do not count on love.

"soulmate" is the new keyword, buzzword, catch phrase for those who are so f*cking insecure in their marraiges or relationships that they have to dramatize the whole idea until it is grossly exagerated into what it is today. Same with "surreal". You never heard that word but now everything that happens to people is "surreal".
My wife tried using that crap "soulmate" on me in front of family and friends, and as a non-practicing Catholic, I said if Jesus Christ is going to be checking out my soul when I die, I don't want any earthly human to f*ck with it. He gets it upon my death, so don't go smudging up my soul...I can do a good enough job of that myself.
I find it bogus, lame, and gimmicky.
