how can i tell my mom that i want buy thongs i already have 2 that my older sister bought me and i wear them somtimes so how can i tell my mom ??

You already have two pairs, so she likely already knows that you have thong underwear, even if you do your own laundry.

Just be mature when you talk to her, and tell her why you want thong underwear instead of whatever you have been wearing in the past. Try to stick to practical reasons, like visible panty lines and elastic waistbands. Try not to whine or loose your temper. If you can act like an adult, then she'll respect your decision a whole lot more, and be more likely to give in.

Make sure you avoid mentioning what your friends and older sisters wear. Your choices won't influence her if she thinks you only want to fit in with what others are doing. Parents hate reasons like that. You want her to see that you made this decision all on your own, and you aren't just following what someone else likes.

While this is only underwear, it can help you to show her that you are getting to be old enough to make your own decisions. Than maybe the next time a clothing choice comes up, she'll be more inclined to listen to you.

How old are you? I'm assuming pre-teen or very early teen?

I am a mom and as a mom, we like to keep our little girls "princesses" as long as we can. Thongs can be viewed by some as sexy (and they are) but unless you are out showing your hiney...nobody will even know what kind of panties you have on. I truly don't see what the big deal about wearing a thong is all about? But I remember my daughters saying they needed new panties and when we got to the store they asked if they could buy a thong. For a split second my first reaction was NO WAY, THOSE ARE TOO SEXY. But then I thought...what am I thinking??? They are only PANTIES.

To some of the answers before mine...wearing thongs does not mean you are slutty or sexualy active. I wear thongs. I love them because they don't leave those hideous panty lines across the bottom of your butt and on your legs. That to me is tacky. And lets face it...jeans are low rise nowadays and how tacky would it be to see a big ole pair of granny panties popping out the top of your jeans?

Thongs are underwear and have no hidden meaning behind them. If a girl is going to be slutty or sexual, she's gonna do it whether she's wearing thongs or not.

I say tell your mom the things I just said above.

ok here is what you do...
there are certain outfits that you have to wear a thong with-like gaucho pants, some dresses, and anything that shows a panti-line....since your young, when your mom takes you shopping, try on some gauchos and tell your mom that you love them and they are so comfortable, but they show a panti line in the back...suggest that you need a thong to wear with these pants....this way she will know that you dont want to buy a thong for the wrong reasons...pretty soon buying thongs will seem like a normal thing and your mom wont have a problem with it...
if she argues with your suggestion, tell her to get you a hanky panky thong, they are comfortable cute, and not to revealing...itll break the ice for the other thongs you want to have

and if this doesnt work, just go buy them yourself and keep them away from her haha one day your mom will be cool with you buying thongs, just give it some time. Good luck!!

This depends on how old you are. If you are in your mid-late teens, I think that you should be able to wear them without getting your parents involved. Of course realize that wearing a thong isn't just something fun to do, it's usually a sort of advertisement to show that you are at the least sexually active. If you are younger than 15 I would wait all together with them and I think if your mom was ever a teen, which she was at one time, she would understand why you want them and would give you the best advice about everything. honestly ask yourself; why do i want these thongs? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand why you want them, im guessing your too young for all of these reasons. You have the rest of your life to be an adult, make sure you enjoy your childhood first. Thongs are for showing them off, nothing else. When you get older, buy a whole case of them and go bonkers!

You need to sit down and discuss this with her rationally. It may be hard for her, but tell her why and how important it is to you. Moms just want the best for their kids and forget sometimes what it is like to be a kid... At least it isn't sex or drugs that you want (at least I hope not).

You obviously are young, you have no need to wear them. Go to school and get good grades. Throw them away. If you're looking to impress someone with them, then you really need some professional help. Your young. Go tell your mom, but don't expect her to be happy.

First off all how old r u ..., n it also matters wat kind of way ur mom thinks..... if i tell my mom that she would go crazy bcuz shes overprotected n she might think its bad.... so how bout u don tell her yet n don let her find out untill u think u r old enough to do so.. or just tell ur sister to tell ur mom that u r old enough to wear them....
