am trying to get into a program for my senior year in high school. It's for Public Communications. I need to state my reasons why I want to be in the program, and what I can offer to the program. Also, what skills I have in this field of study. The twist is that I need to write this in a creative way. How can I do this? I want something that will blow away the competition, but I can't think of anything. Any creative ideas for my essay?

What if you wrote it from the perspective of something other than you? Maybe pretend that you started the essay and then fell asleep and your guardian angel took over the essay, describing all your talents, qualities, etc.
Or maybe the essay could be from the perspective of a pet?
Or you could be really creative and make it from the perspective of something like your hair brush or hand bag, maybe an ear ring?
Or what if you did it as your obituary and it's the year 2080. You were a famous journalist, won a Nobel Peace Prize, were a press secretary to two presidents, and you got your start in the Public Communications class your senior year of high school?
Whatever approach you use, be sure you answer the prompt of the essay. Give them the information they want to be sure you are a solid competitor.
