crank the engine and see the rotor turning because I don.t remember it.(old cholesterol problem,You know?)

Have a assistant to help you with this. With the distribtor cap off, have your assistant to "bump" the engine while you watch the direction of the rotor button to turn, then start from the #1 connection on the cap and follow the firing order sequence on the cap in the same direction you saw the rotor turn.

Ok. It doesn't matter which way you face. Clockwise is clockwise. Its always clockwise, except, I think, in Australia, where its counter-clockwise... ; )

generally speaking almost if not every motors distributor turn clockwise when it is running.
