no matter how careful I am, I would definitely bump into something once everyday.
I have bruises all over my body because of it.
It kind of gets annoying.
I've been like this ever since I was a kid. Back then I used to fall in the stairs, bruising my leg, all the time. I broke my nose twice falling in the stairs.
I broke my forehead once falling in the stairs.
I closed the door once on my hand playing hide and seek with my brother and got stitches on all the fingers.
I even ran into a chandelier once and broke my forehead again!
Today I was closing the car door and the sharp bottom end of it caught on my leg and my jeans were torn.

I used to insist that it was a pillar, but my parents said that it was this very long chandelier in the lobby of a hotel.

Are you a Sagittarius? We are just like that. I had broke all my fingers and toes once or twice before I was 24 years old. When I turned 24 I had the misfortune of cutting off two fingers on my right hand at the first knuckle. 2 months later I shattered my right arm and 7 weeks into healing it I fell and broke it again!
My right knee has been cut so deep in the same place so many times it has long since quit trying to heal the scar, it just stays purple. I fell from 5 feet and when I landed I split my ear into, just days before my son's wedding. Once my husband and I were goofing around and I had a Q-tip in my ear and he bumped into me and the Q-tip went through my eardrum. Frequently I get scrapes and cuts that bleed and I never leave home without bandaids, I carry them in my checkbook.
I had the same question, as you can imagine! The only thing I have been able to come up with is that it is the very nature of a Sagittarian. Sorry for your pain, I empathize.

Yeah, I'm terribly clumsy too. I've almost broken both my arms by falling on them the wrong way. I sprained my ankle on Thrusday by tripping on my left foot. I don't think there's been a single day where I haven't dropped/spilled food/drinks on my shirt or sweater or vest or pants. I fallen UP the stairs. I've fallen down an entire flight of stairs. I tripped while 'skating' on my textbooks, and made my toe bleed. I closed a metal door on my hand, and by accident i closed a LOCKED car on my hand!
I'm here with ya, sista! Peace ^^

For some reason, I have a way of going to take a drink out of a bottle or can and end up dumping it in my lap.
When I eat cereal, the milk always sloshes out.
I often find myself slamming into walls/doors and tripping over animals I didn't know I owned at the time.

If you have had clumsiness daily it honestly may not be just be you being a klutz. My mother was clumsy all her life as well and she got teased for it. It wasn't until she was in her 30's when she went to a doctor for carpal tunnel syndrome that the doctor noticed something suspicious and ordered more test. My mother was diagnosed with Char-cot Marie Tooth Disease. It is in the Muscular Dystrophy family. It wouldn't hurt to mention your clumsiness to your doctor next time you see him/her just to make sure that everything is ok. Everything could be ok (and I hope so) or there could be something wrong since it is a daily thing with you.

Oh no! I didn't know there where female ones!
My Fiancé is an accident waiting to happen. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
Clumsiness is usually do to a lackadaisical mind. You need to "pay attention" I know this sound expensive. However it's well worth the effort. You'll notice you drive better too.
Daniel is a work in progress.
Godspeed!

No I am not clumsy unless I am tripping over toys or action figures in my son's room. I thought Old Weird Harold
(the clumsy one from the Fat Albert cartoon) was just an
exaggeration but there really are alot of real clumsy people like him.

No, but my sister is, especially when we were kids. Door facings would jump out in front of her in our own house. Have you talked to a doctor about it? It could be an inner ear problem. My son is also very clumsy but he has Asperger's, which is a very, very mild form of Autism. It makes him have a poor sense of body proximity which makes it harder for him to judge distance, etc..

Yea - there are quite a few ppl I know (born??) this way. I do sometimes feel sorry for them, they get injured unnecessarily, and others get mad with them. I don't think much can be done to change it no matter how hard you try, could even make it worse.

I am somewhat clumsy too and it's annoying - it really pisses me off, and it really starts my day in the morning. It's funny, but what I've tried to do is look at where I'm going before walking.

Yes I'm clumsy. Do you have small feet? I heard that people with small feet have a harder time balancing their bodies, thus developing poor coordination skills.
