Will a Forensics class look good in your highschool transcript even if you will Major in Multimedia Art?

E-mail the colleges you want to go to first and see if it is okay.

I actually look Forensics this year in High School instead of Chemistry or Physics [i took biology and earth science].

The colleges I was applying to for Art [weird coincidence] did not care what math/science I took.
Most colleges want at least 2 years lab science [biology, earth science, chemistry, or physics]. So if you have at least 2 then you should be good.

I e-mailed about 20 different art colleges and they did not care at all.

So e-mail the colleges you want to go to just to double check.

Is the Forensics class an college prep course? If so, is it a science class or elective?

If it's not a college prep course, most colleges won't even look at it.

If it's a science class, you'll also want to have biology, chemistry and probably physics. So if you're just adding it to those 3, it should be fine.

If you're majoring in Multimedia Art, you will still need a strong transcript with math and science, so if Forensics appeals to you, by all means take it!!

But, if taking Forensics means you won't be taking biology, chemistry and physics, then check with the colleges where you plan to apply to determine if they will accept Forensics instead of one of those three. Then decide.

It does not matter to the Universities what classes you take, what does matter is that you master the material that is taught. Universities look at your G.P.A, extra-curricular activities, and if you have finished the course that are required by the Universities. I know that in California they have preferences, they would like you to have 4 years of English, 3 years of math, and so forth. Just go and see what the Universities you are applying to look for in an applicant.
