I finally got thie nerve to ask this guy I like to 'hang out". What actually happened was.. i text messaged him asking him that we should hang out soon and he text messaged me back ten minutes later... saying that he would like too, although it have to be in a couple of weeks, because that;s the next time he gets paid because he's broke as a joke" quote on quote.. so we conversated furthur and he revealed to me that he tends to be a bit shy when it comes to women because he's afraid or rejection.. and he has been rejected in the past.. I then asked him do he feel confident enough to try to get an attractive woman..and he said yes but usually he's not in pursuit .. or rather it depends on what mood he's in...How would you feel about this guy after this converation...I'm just not sure..I know that everytime is see him he smiles, and he's flirted with me and the past...but now I just don't know about him

The best thing you should do is trust your instinct. He might just be a big goob. I know I am at first because I am very shy. Maybe he is the type of person that gets nervous at first and says dumb things, but when he's comfortable he's normal. I think you should give him a chance. You never know. About the money thing, well at least you know that he doesn't expect you to pay. He seems to be pretty honest. All of us women know that's a plus!

He sounds like a decent guy. I'm a bit like him. I like it when women take the initiative and then I feel easier about the whole thing. You don't have to mis-trust a guy just because he's unlike most aggressive men. He may just need a few dates to get used to being around you and he'll start showing his true self and having a better time...oh yeah, he'll probably be a little weird for the first few dates. Give him some time to chill out around you and you may have found yourself a catch.

Well, you asked him to hang out and he gave you a number of excuses so I would have to say that he is not into you and that you should move on. If, per chance, he happens to contact you in two weeks, fine, but do not call him again. You deserve to be respected and pursued.

From what i can see, he seems to be opening up to you so that means he wants to overcome his fear of rejection and would like to try something. If you liked him, these comments of his shouldnt affect you negatively, but should encourage you to continue what you were doing. Guys dont usually open up, atleast i dont, so if they do, they trust that person and would be willing to go an extra mile for them. hope this helps.

i dont know what part of that conversation made you feel any dif
than you have been feeling. Besides, all guys do the 'rejected' thing - its just for sympathy.
