my b/f has a mom, that makes him such a nervous wreck, that he has to take meds! she is still blaming him , for his fathers death, due to to much stress in the home, note: this is 20 years ago! she is very bitter, nobody in the family can even bother with her, she is ederldy, making several very imporant dicissions,, for ex. just gave the family house to his sister, & many acres of land! he comes from Mass. is there any law on her passing, he can bring this to court?? please help!!thanks

Have you checked with a lawyer? Because of her mental state, you may even be able to do something about it now. Have you talked to your boyfriend about counseling for her or them together? It sounds like there are a lot of unresolved issues in the family. Good-luck.

Your boyfriend must be old enough to move out. If he is an adult then he has no excuse to live with his mother and shouldn't have to put up with it anymore.
He can get a consultation with an attorney. Nobody on here can or should give legal advice (unless they are an attorney in MA).

Why would he even want to have any contact with this toxic person? He should cut off all communication immediately, he'll feel much better with her out of his life.
Never mind about giving away houses and land, if they belong to her, she can do with them what she wants. Your boyfriend's emotional wellbeing is more important.
