I work retail, and a customer once and told me that he always tried to stop in on his way home because I invariably gave him a reason to smile that he could take home to his family

I appreciate ANY compliment that I receive. However, the best compliment that I have ever received was from a patient of mine. I took care of him all night and in the morning he told me that I was the best nurse he had ever had take care of him because he could feel my compassion.

I was a waitress for a couple years at a funky BBQ restaurant and this one was the best/funniest line I have ever heard. There were these two younger guys that came in to eat about half an hour before we closed so I wasn't really in the mood for their crap but when I went to take their orders one of them turns to me and says, "Do you eat here a lot?"
me: Occasionally
Him: Well can you tell me what you eat to keep that smoking bod of yours?
me:.........
Him: Ok...nevermind, I'll just have the chicken....
I went back into the kitchen and laughed my *** off. It did make me feel pretty though.

I think the best compliments I receive are when people tell me how good or smart my children are,it makes you feel good about your work as a mother!!

I was told by my bf that I am the most approachable woman he has ever met...and know what? He is right.Don't mean to sound like a narcissist, but the guy is right. Iam good over here....but a round for the P&S'ers!!!!!

I had someone tell me that I am a sweetheart who always knows the right thing to say and always shows that I care. Which is really excessive but the thought is nice.

When someone compliments how nicely my children behave or what nice manners they have, etc. That's the best.

I had been gone from school for about two weeks. I had finally caught up with my work and was starting to get my motivation back. My teacher told me, "I can see the old [my name] is back." It honestly brought tears to my eyes.

My b/f told me I have beautiful eyes. I think the eyes really are "windows to the soul" so, when he said that ... I felt beautiful not only on the outside, but, on the inside too. :)
