I think those weird Japanese animated shows . . anime . . are so weird. & people are freakishly obsessed w. them. Like if you google anyone on Google Images you will get like 900 images of that person drawn "anime style" with spiky hair & giagantic eyes. It freaks me out!
Does anyone else find anime to be extremely odd ??

No... A love of something does not make you weird at all. I hear that too from some of my friends. They think it is weird & they don't understand why I watch it. I tell them all the time that anime is my life, but they don't understand. Everybody has some form of obsession. It could be wanting to always be the best, love of a celebrity, etc. But when people hear that 'somebody loves anime' then obsession seems to become a bad thing, but that isn't true at all. Just point out to your friends that they all love something & are obsessed with it [no exceptions] and they shouldn't be so quick to judge others.

Don't judge it all based on what you think you know. I refused to watch it forever, but then I couldn't sleep one night and ended up watching the movie Spirited Away, which is an anime film, and it was amazing. Like any other type of TV, there's good and not so good anime. The only ones I watch with any regularity are Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, and Eureka Seven, and they're all interesting stories with good characters and plots.

I hate the ones that come on at night than i can never get to sleep it so stupid the only anime i like and you and other folks might no declare it as anime but it's Sonic the hedgehog
