I turned it on and after 10 15 seconds it works but only half a screen. It's new I bought about half a year ago

You should ask this in like the Electronics section. People in Polls & Surveys don't know anything . . we're too stupid to give real advice.!

maybe something went wrong with the picture tube.other wise take it to a tv repair shop.

Bummer. I actually threw mine out because I thought it was broken....truth be known, i had forgotten to pay the cable bill.

I have a big screen that does that, when that happens to mine, I smack it really hard, and it help.

If it's new you should have a warranty, take it back to the store from which you purchased it.
