I guess I will clarify for you...I understand everyone's confusion. You must be referring to the cervical bones in the neck (ex. the C-4 vertebrae), that is the only way a male could have "cervical" cancer.
As for what to get him, well, you know him better than any of us. Something heartfelt would do the trick. I wish you and your family well.

Problem - men can't get cervical cancer because they don't have a cervix. The human papillomavirus (HPV) can cause cervical cancer in women but in men it can cause penil cancer, anal cancer and genital warts. Valentines day is generally when romantic partners give gifts to each other. It is a little odd that a daughter should need to give a gift to her dad on that day.

Honey, you have it wrong, he may have some sort of
cancer, but not cervical.....only women have a cervix
its part of the female sexual organs.
The key thing is, if he has a cancer and you really need to
find out exactly what kind, go online and find out what
treatments there are, what his chances for remission are
and then spend as much time with him as you can. Your
presence is worth much more that any ratty card or box or
candy. Be supportive and ready to help with what you can
and just love him for as long as you have him.

Mabey you should find out from his doctors what type of cancer he has for sure, but it cant be cervical cancer. That is a womans cancer. Im sorry to hear he has cancer, but you should really talk to his doctors! The best gift you can give him for valentines day, is just be there for him. A gift of yourself , and give him support.

Your DAD was diagnosed with CERVICAL cancer??? Your DAD has a CERVIX??? I think you mean (at least I hope you mean!...) that your dad has cancer of the cervical spine (which is awful, but there is NO WAY he has cancer of the CERVIX!).
Get him whatever he likes - something VERY special.

Men don't get cervical cancer. The cervix is the opening to the uterus. Men don't have one. Are you sure about that diagnosis?
However, you can get him a good book, a DVD of a movie he enjoys, tickets to the basketball or hockey game, a gift card to his favorite restaurant, a nice sweater...
