No, because Hillary has too much money and the people who like Obama will consider her more electable. Obama has little experience and seems naive, so far.

A *chance*? Yes. A big chance? That remains to be seen. But why I think he has a chance is because he is for unity instead of division, and because he is so charismatic (and fairly young) that he could energize the young voters the way JFK once did. If Obama can get the youth who normally don't vote to realize that they might actually manage to make some small change in how this country is run, it's anyone's game.

Its so obviously a set up for Hillary to get voted in: Make it a political landmark that its OK for a black person to run for President, likewise it will be considered OK for a woman to run for president. The mood will be set that America is ripe for a change and rather than the inexperienced Obama people will vote for the experienced Clinton.

I do not think he has a chance at all. He is just wasting his time and money. Besides, do you really think Hillary will stand by and let him win, she could just bring some old friends out of the woodworks, and poof, he will decide not to run or every one will think he left town. She and Bill has done this before, even to the ones they called their friends. Obama better be careful, very careful, if he does decide to run for President.

Part of what factors in Obama's chance existance is an apparent and inevitable change in the US Demography in general for the past decade or 2

The sad truth is he will not win because the Jackson's and Sharpton's have a vested interest in the STATUS QUO ,and if Obama wins then reconstruction will truly have ended and with it the excuses some people use to remain in poverty.Let me say here and now I am a southern working class white male and I support OBAMA 100%!! He is young ,smart and an outsider who truly represents CHANGE!

I would like to think so but I'd be surprised if he did win. Either way I hope either Hillary or Obama wins... besides, how bad can they be compared to Bush's rule?

I think a lot of pepole like the idea that he's young among other things. I definitely think he has a chance.

I give him an A for effort. Even if he doesn't win, he will get a lot of publicity so he will still accomplish something good out of this.

Yes, I think he has a chance.
He is very charismatic and he hasn't ruined himself by ever being in favor of the unpopular iraq war.
