i think that gaming computers are the best because they can do a lot of fast computer tricks and whatnot even though i dont play games

It totally depends what you're needing the computer for...
If you need some serious power for video editing, etc. then I recommend a Mac Pro. These things have some killer clock speeds, and run the worlds most advanced Operating System.
If you want a notebook, get a Macbook Pro. Even with these things, you can do some crazy things, such as play games with great graphics, and some video editing.
