You mean about the US? The problem is that in order to support the war, our own government has been playing the fear card for several years now. People as high up as Bush have said on interviews or news conferences, "They're coming for YOUR family. For YOUR wife and children."

In my opinion, by going that route instead of "We have nothing to fear but fear itself," the terrorists DO to some extent win. But as long as it continues to be a current refrain, fewer people will focus on just what an incredibly lucky country we are.

We are still the lucky country we will be even luckier when we get rid of Little Johnny Howard and his best buddy George.
