Computer people.. come here..?

Question

I uploaded a "bad" video of me on my computer from my camera, to my photobucket, I didn't save it to my computer, and that was a year ago maybe? And I delelted it off my photobucket, after 1 min. and I looked and looked to see if the video was on there, I did a thousand searches for all the video's, and I didn't find it. Could it still be on there?

ACtually, my photobucket is private... so yeah..

Oh! Im sorry! I wasn't clear enough.. when I searched for the video's I searched on my hard drive, not on photobucket,

I don't think so. Unless it is still on your camera, it is probably gone. The FBI, CIA, or someone that knows how to retrieve deleted files could probably get it, but not your parents, if that is what you are worried about.

The only way that you could be fo'-sho' in the clear is if you use this program (I forget what it is called) to wipe your HD. It will wipe it to DOD (department of defense) standards; the only drawback is that it wipes your HD and the program is something like $3000.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Actually, the only way to make sure it's really gone would be to smash your hard drive with a hammer... It's still there. It's still on PhotoBucket's servers too. But unless your 'rents are computer forensics pros, you don't have anything to worry about. I just hope you learned from the experience.

It is unlikely that it is there, but it is barely possible since Photobucket is a separate service, with its own computers.

What about your RecycleBin (assuming you use a Windows computer) - did you empty it? If not, then the video is still in it.

Hi.. am if any one has seen that video just before you deleted it...
it is gone.. however if anyone at all has seen it.. it has a slight chance of it being on the net
