I do. But it kinda hurts my feelings when I put a lot of thought in an answer and someone gives me a thumbs down! Actually, it doesn't bother me so much now as it did when I first started doing Yahoo Answers. Maybe a little....

Not specifically, I go back to my answers to see if the one who asked them added something to the question. (mind you, when I DO see a thumbs up behind my answer, I'm always well pleased, LOL)

Only when I fire off an answer that was meant to be inflammatory. I like to see how many people I got a rise out of.
I typically only do that when either the question, or somebody else's response was intentionally offensive to my beliefs.

I just received 3 thumbs down & its annoying.
why I cannot honestly express my opinion.
Alternatevely I always have to answer what is expected to get approval.
