well, im sure u have brought it up to her many times. but afterwards, you can do nothing about it. You have to make her see, whats happening. You have to at least make her see whats shes doing to herself. She needs to get out. Tell her, literally!!! Still be there to support her, and if she needs help, be there. But always keep a watchful eye, you never know what may happen to her.
May god be with her!

This may or may not happen. Just be there for her as a friend to lean on and talk with for now. Offer to help her leave and be a resource for her to do so. Have her go to http://www.drphil.com and email him ofr help and advice too or you can take her to see Dr. Phil at his show and have her talk to him about this or even his wife Robin may be able to help with advice too. Give her this abuse number at 1-800-799-7233... I sure hope you can help her and get her out of this soon. She really does need to get out and away from it.

You can't. I have a friend in the same situation and she just won't leave. I've tried to help her for years, I've even come over to her house when she called me in tears, and helped her move out her things, only to have her move back in with him the next day. I've given up, there's nothing I can do and it's just too emotionally draining for me to keep trying. I'm still her friend and I talk to her when he allows her to use the telephone, but you can't help someone who refuses to help themselves.

I fear I agree with boobird. You can discuss the matter, but do not expect any action.
