Try this one on for size - one of my girlfriends in the 1980's wanted to name her son a name no one would forget (keep in mind, she is African-American). It is Alejandro DeCavalcante. Poor kid, only the last name is a common, every day name. I will never be able to forget this - she mentioned it so much that I even have the slang down pat. Very weird - huh?
