My friend Chris is 15 but a freshman. Im 15 and a sophmore. He wont leave me alone. We were at a friends house and he wouldnt stop leaving me alone! He kept sitting next to me on the couch, resting his head on me, saying I love you, and generally making me uncomfortable with comments like " your awesome and I dont like you just for your body". I told him to stop and he doesnt listen. I tried moving away. I know he had a crush on me when I was in eight grade. He has told me. I really want him to stop it makes me uncomfortable. How do I stop it?

You have explained how you feel and he does not respect that. He is fixated with you, not truly caring for you or he would respect your feelings even if they were not what he wanted. This at the very least is on the verge of harassment, but could escalate into a very dangerous situation. You cannot be friends with someone who does not respect you, your feelings or your boundaries. If he tries to play the "friend" card but continues to ignore your boundaries and feelings it is manipulation. You have to take a stand and stay away from him. You should also tell your parents, they need to know for your safety. Respect yourself even if he won't respect you and your feelings.

Physically get away from him EVERY TIME he's near. If he doesn't stop then ask your school counselor, for two reasons:
1) They have great ideas about these things
2) It will provide a witness that he's giving you a hard time, in case there is ever a problem in the future with things going too far.

ps give a "heads up" to your parents too.

Ask your parents to talk to him, or talk to his parents. This could lead to other serious things such as rape, it you dont take care of it now.
