It is a simple phrase.

The rich only get richer and the poor only get poorer.

It was never going to benefit the poor. Globalisation is unavoidable but should be implemented in a way that nobody is disadvantaged. I studied it for a semester during study for a degree. If you can find them, try reading books by Gee, Hull and/or Lankshear. The book I used was called New Work Order.

First of all, I like your question, and I am on your side. But, the fact of the matter is that it was never meant to benefit the poor in any way. It was also never intended to benefit the middle class in any way. Globalization is a goal, that they having been working toward for a really long time, and it is meant to benefit only the Globalists. Which it, of course, does!!!!! The best thing we can do for the poor, of which I am one, is to get rid of the Globalists, and the Federal Reserve system, and the IRS and the questionable income tax, and the Patriot Acts, etc.,...but that is easier said than done!!!!

globalization allows other countries to import products to third world countries.
let's say, the philippines. when the philippine government has started importing vegetable produce from taiwan, thailand and other countries, because of the large number of produce being imported everyday, the costs of this produce has become very cheap in the market. there by, the consumers would buy these produce that are really cheap. the local farmers then have no choice but to lessen their prices as well, risking the big cash investment that they have put into their farming for these produce. they do this inorder for their produce to be sold in the
market..that is a very big lost on the local farmers.
