Beautiful. That's is one of the key beliefs of nudism, that everyBODY is good.
It's society that has shamed the body and taught people that it's nasty and should be hidden. Isn't something really wrong when a female nipple is considered a lot worse then a lot of the violence in society? Society has taught people that sex and nudity is one and the same. As for children, they act like children will be shocked for life at the sight of a human body, something that they have. They also act like they will be confused about sex.
Is it not the media that is confusing our children? Is it not the media and society that is teaching children that their body is bad, shameful, and that the body and sex are the same? How can a child that was raised on breast feeding be shocked at the sight of a female breast? After all, there isn't much difference between that and a male breast, besides shape and size. Makes me wonder who is really confusing people here. Yup, that's right, society.
Like I said, a beautiful thing that society has taught us is shameful. That is one reason why I'm anti-culture and society. Before I forget, the difference between nude and naked is that nude is more of an accepted term among the nudism community. Naked as more of a shock factor as in "you're naked!" compared to nude. Also, "the nude lady" seems more correct among people then "the naked lady".

The nude body is definitely beautiful, and not shameful at all. Shame comes from doing some that is wrong; how can something that simply is be shameful?
I think that 'nude' is just a more artsy term for 'naked', although I once heard a cute quote about it: "When you're at home alone sleeping without clothes, you're nude; when you're doing something you're not supposed to, you're nekkid.".

I think being nude is not a big deal. The other have explained the difference between nude and naked, and I don't think it's a bad thing that some people like to be nude or naked -- ultimately it's their choice and it doesn't offend me.

Nude is simply without clothing... Naked is without protection... Clothing is protection from the environment, weather, others' looks, etc....
God created the human body to do a great variety of things- it's an amazing "machine".... I marvel at all the things the human body can do almost naturally, that the biggest computers are still working on accomplishing.
I guess I find all of God's creations amazing, beautiful in their own way...

Beautiful. Period.
Seriously the nude body is just gorgeous and intriguing and amazing in so many ways. It can be, anyway. As for the difference between nude and naked... I'd say dictionary.com.

The human body is beautiful clothed or not, in most cases. There is no difference between nude and naked just different connotations.

There isn't much of a difference between nude and naked, but I'd just stink with clothes.

To be naked is to be deprived of our clothes, and the word implies some of the embarrassment most of us feel in that condition. The word 'nude,' on the other hand, carries, in educated usage, no uncomfortable overtone. The vague image it projects into the mind is not of a huddled and defenseless body, but of a balanced, prosperous, and confident body: the body re-formed.

Beautiful! There is inherent beauty in the human form. In our primitive states, we were comfortable with nakedness. It is society which has made it shameful, often fueled by religion.
It is hard to define what the difference is, but I think it is all in the presentation. Nudity is confident and tasteful and in the appropriate setting. Naked is crass and in the improper setting. Even the courts have struggled with the distinction (ie the "I know it when I see it standard").
