I've known of 3 dogs, all that I've slept in the same bed with at some point, (I'm such a dog whore,) they've all snored, ususally I don't wake them unless I think they're dreaming. But in the middle of the night when there's a 50 lb black lab puppy laying aroung my head on my pillow, yes I do wake him to get him to stop snoring, "Bucky" can only be awakened by "Who's there" he snores right through any forceful nudging.

Yes, my dog and my cat both snore loudly. The first time I realized by cat snored I was home alone, it was quiet, nighttime, and I was reading a book. It scared me because I didn't know what the sound was, and thought someone was in my house, and they were breathing heavily. It was a really loud, breathing sound. I was so relieved and amazed to find out that it was my cat was making that noise.

Mine makes noises at night. That's normal. If the snoring is very severe, see a vet.

YES!! Sometimes so loudly you have to turn up the TV to hear it over her!
I've woken her up before - but she's too big for a lap - 101 lbs.

My Bassett Bertie snores for England likewise I dont have the heart to wake him. He also had what I think are bad dreams as he kinda cries briefly, then I have to gently rouse him as i feel so sorry for him as he cannot explain what his dream was about. He is one cutey!

O God yeah do the dogs snore! One of them is black lab and Great Dane mix, so he is extremely big so when he snores, everybody knows it. Kinda annoying but there's nothing we can do about it.
