Had the line said, "The mother is my sister", I'm able to answer it but not when "The mother is my brother." Maybe the mom had a sex change operation after giving birth? I read once a story of a mom trying to reconcile with her son after living with that son as a "sister". What happened was the mom gave birth at very young age, so her parents brought up the child as their own and the real teenage mom becomes the sister.
