if i had to choose just one i would say the exersaucer, it has been a life saver for my baby, it is easy to put it anywhere and she keeps amused in it. great for cooking dinner etc when you want to keep them in one place. i would never get a walker for that reason, they get into enough mischief without added help of wheels to propel them god knows where! and there are all the warnings about them. i also have a jumper, but my baby hasn't used it much. she enjoys it but the exersaucer has just been handier moving it around etc. it is also handy to feed them in if you need to.

walkers are not recommended anymore because babys can get places they shouldn't be like falling down stairs, or pulling heavy thing down off a table on them, and they say now that they may delay walking. I had a johnny jumper and I had my daughter in it less than 5 minutes and I threw it away, she bumped her head on the molding of the door 3 times in 2 minutes. I loved the excersaucer! They can't go anywhere so they cant go or do anything dangerous, they can jump around so they get to exercise there little legs, they can turn all the way around and most kinds have lots of toys so they can see the whole room and have plenty of things to play with, I used mine w/ both my children and they both loved it.

I have all 3! I love the variety for my baby, the exersaucer keeps my babe very busy and does not get them too tired, the jolly jumper is great for getting them tired before naps and bed,the walker my baby does not reach the ground yet so we don't use it but I do plan on it,I also have a swing and a bouncy chair. Those colorful gyms that lay on the floor are also great!Good luck,it can get pretty expensive so see if you can get some second hand or at a flea market or garage sale.I do believe variety is great,it gets all their different muscles working!

I've never tried the walker. My son gets bored in about 30 seconds with the exersaucer. He LOVES his jumperoo! He bounces like a baby possessed. Although I think they have to be old enough to hold their upper bodies steady, have enough strength to jump, and be heavy enough that their feet will touch the ground. When we tried putting him in it at three months he'd just curl his legs up and hang there for a minute, and then cry :(
But now (at 7 months) he can't get enough of it. Helps to build leg strength in a safe way too.

My daughter liked the jumper best, my son liked the saucer. I'd avoid the walker. To many chances for an accident.

the Excersaucers are great. Thats all ive gotten for my little girl. But it seems like it would be enough. it has all the toys around it and it rocks. it seems like it'll be fun for her. i say do whatever you want or whatever makes you more comfortable. Good luck! Sorry i couldnt be of more help!

i would go with either an exersaucer or a walker AND a jumper. to be cear, i mean, buy two things, but make sure one of them is a jumper - babies LOVE them! and it's a different sort of exercise for gross motor and muscle development.

dont buy a walked they are bad for babies and very dangerous...by stairs...saucers are good i like the baby to be in one place...jumpers are good also they get great exercise from those and your baby will get a kick out of jumping really high once he/she gets the hang of it...i bought my son the fish aquarium saucer and the jumper from babies r us he loved them both but he 16 months to big for them now..so i would get the saucer and the jumper but no walker they are more of a pain. and dangerous....

I loved the exersaucer I had for my son. It had lots on it for him to do and I didn't have to worry wear he was at. I used to put it in the bathroom with him in it so I could take a bath when my husband wasn't home and it was nice cause I could take a bath and I could see him too. Also, it helped from keeping him in the playpen while I was doing house work.
