I have this good friend of mind. she's smart & cool. we get along very well. i have this attraction to her. but not sexually. i just like being around her, talking to her, & being close to her. it's friendly but i know there's something more than that bc i only have this feeling for her. i wonder how she feels, well maybe it's just me. but she's straight so i'm just....confuse :( PLEASE give me some advice....

Assuming that you fully know that you have no sexual attraction to her and that she has no sexual attraction to you, it's possible that what you are feeling is simply a very strong emotional bond.
It's not uncommon for this sort of emotional bond to exist between siblings who are very close, and very close friends sometimes experience this too. Sometimes, you may begin to feel as though you are two parts of the same person. Perhaps she is one of the only people in your life who you feel you can open up with and tell anything to. Everyone needs to have at least one person like that in their lives, and once you find that sort of person, it's a very special experience. Not necessarily sexual in any way, but rather on an emotional level.
You have a very healthy and solid relationship wtih this person. Be sure to tell her that you are thankful she's always there to listen to you and be supportive. Cherish this friendship -- they're less common than we'd like!

it's understandable that you're confused because you normally associate these feelings with sexual ones.
But these feelings, from what you've told us, are that a close friendship or what could become one. you probably know from experience that you could ruin this by engaging in a sexual relationship with her. Which I would advise against for a variety of reasons.

That's easy... it's called a girl crush! It's a non-sexual infatuation with another woman where you have an intense attraction to her for whatever reasons... google it!

Only you know what you are feeling. It is possible of course, that you admire her and are infatuated with her - perhaps you like her energy? It doesn't mean it is necessarily a sexual attraction.

its not weird to be especially close to one person and be happy around them!
it doesn't mean you need to get in a relationship with her, just be friends!
you can be just as close and not have the sexual complications.

I think women are more "allowed" to be closer than men are in our society. I think that you are really close friends. You may even love her.
