This one is kind of hard to explain, but here it goes... While I'm driving at anywhere between 45-60 m.p.h. and let off the accelarator there is a sound and a vibration in the floorboard. The sound kind of immitates that of when you drive over those slow down rumble strips before a stop sign. The sound and vibrations last for about 1-2 seconds and happen every 6-7 seconds. There are no visual leaks underneath the truck and the tires are inflated to spec. I found a flat road and let off the gas and shut the motor off in nuetral and it still made the sounds and vibrations.

Any ideas on what this might be? Any further information that may be needed can be provivded.

The vibration and noise tells me that the drive shaft universal joints are going bad. I would consider replacing them real soon. Note: when you replace the joints, replace both of them, not just one. When you remove the driveshaft, check to see if there is a small peice of metal still tack welded to the shaft. That is used to be sure that the shaft was in balance before it left the factory.

sounds to me like something is in your cv boot or your ball joints need to be regreasded i would strongly suggest first checking tranny fluid level if it is really really dark in color having tranny serviced as this is the first sign of burning gears also check diffrenteal grease good luck
