I have a girlfriend and she told me not to get her anything for Valentine's Day. We have only been officially dating for like 3 days, but we've been seeing each other for 2-3 months now. My brain says to listen to her and save money, but my heart is saying get her something and not look like a loser. Also, if I should get her a gift, what should I get her?

Ok...so she says that and I am a woman and we all say that just because we do lol but get her a nice necklace or pretty bracelet its not extreme and its not a ring only if youve been going out for 2 or 3 months just wait for that a little longer...

My suggestion would be to compromise... a compliment and a nice bouquet of flowers (or even a single one) from the garden would be thoughtful and caring without being drawn into the commercialisation of the day :-)

Definitely get her something. A single red rose with a card or a small box of her favorite chocolate. It doesn't have to be big. Just let her know you are thinking of her.

She said that she doesn't want anything - so don't get her anything.

If she really wanted something - then she lied to you - and a woman that lies isn't worth keeping around.
