Stryper a christian heavy metal band from the 80s that had these dumbass looking outfits they looked like bumblebees and threw pocket bibles to the crowd they SUCKED big time and Slaughter except that song of theirs "Fly To The Angels"

Is there really a worst rock band of all time? I cannot truthfully answer this. We all have our own opinions as to good or bad music. It is interesting that previous answers stated Bon Jovi and KISS: two of the most well-known and top-selling bands in history. Far be it for me to criticize.

There were quite a few in the 80's, but the only ones that I can think of at the moment are Living Colour and Twisted Sister. Dee Snider was really hard on the eyes with all that makeup.(eeew) lol

That is a trick question.
You can get such obscure bands like Attila, Boomerang, Kleere who are "bad" in the sense they got an album out and nothing more
Or you get a band that "made it", but is a pile of junk, say, Wall of Voodoo.

it's just a matter of personal taste because in my opinion any bands that fall in the nu-metal label, some punk bands and grunge bands are subpar bands. I prefer classic rock, avant garde, prog and "hair metal".
and of course, I really hate Hinder.

But seriously, probably like Green Day. Their new stuff blows.
