Well, it is not necessarily casual sex, but the need to find a suitable mate. Reproduction is the very essence of life, and we have that instinct to seek out a suitable mate and reproduce. It is what keeps us from dieing out. It is an instinct that all animals are born with. Since our intelligence is higher than simple animals, we try to find a compatible partner. I believe this is the answer to life.
