This can only get worse. I don't like to feed the lawyers, but I would recommend a consultation. Your partners diagnosis doesn't make a difference, but your money invested does.

there is one thing you can do but it's not nice to the person you do it to...you could sell your half of the partnership and politely exit his or her life and just say you got a better offer elswhere...or you could hang in there and loose everything you have. Or you could work hard to find a way to accomodate his/her issues and maybe just laydown some ground rules of operation.
