Couples who have used preseed, has it worked for you? I just found a website on it and I haven't decided if it's worth buying. My fiance and I are TTC and it is FRUSTRAITING every time AF comes! I just want to burst into tears. I have heard that pineapple juice helps CM? Is that true, and that whole Robitussin thing? Has that worked and if so how much did you take and when? Any tips would be great and please no rude or smarta*s comments. Thank you in advanced! And Congrats to all you new mommies!

I've never used Preseed, but I do know couples who have, and they've had success with it. From my understanding, if you get enough EWCM (egg white cervical mucus), and thereby don't need a lubricant, then you won't need preseed. If you find you don't get enough EWCM and feel you need a personal lubricant, then it's probably your best choice, since it's the only personal lubricant that allows sperm to move freely through it as though it were EWCM.

As for the Robitussin, I actually recommend Mucinex (or the generic form), as long as it has no active ingredients other than guaifenesin. It's the exact same thing as Robitussin, only in an easy to take pill form. It also may seem to be more expensive, but when you consider the number of doses that you get for generic Mucinex vs. generic Robitussin, you'll see that it's the same price or even cheaper. You take one pill per day. I usually take it at the same time as my prenatal vitamin (you are taking your vitamins, aren't you??)

I belong to a TTC board, and several ladies have had great success with Mucinex/Robitussin, by taking it either the week leading up to ovulation, or by taking it as soon as AF shows until ovulation. Either one seems to work, but a lot of women felt like it was a "better safe than sorry" thing, and that's why they took it every day from AF to O.

Also, having your fiance take the Mucinex/Robitussin may help because it will thin his semen, allowing the sperm to move more freely. He should also be taking a daily multivitamin, because sperm health and quality are just as important as your eggs and timing.

Are you charting, using Ovulation Predictor Tests, or just using the calendar method? I ask because most women find greater success with OPT's or charting than by following the calendar alone...

I hope that helps and ***BABY DUST***
