It certainly makes one suspicious. Why imprison them if it is so obvious they are wrong? The fact is, it's not obvious they are wrong and anyone who has more than a public school education on the Holocaust and WWII would easily see the many contradictions. The truth should speak for itself, but since those who insist on perpetuating the mainstream version of the Holocaust can't back up their claims with anything besides false witness testimonies and confessions obtained under torture, they have to resort to silencing anyone who questions why their "facts" don't add up. So much for free speech- guess that only applies to people who don't offend the Jews.

If revisionist historians deliver hard facts and then go on to show that the holocaust is either exaggerated or that there are many myths within this period of history, then the power of Zionists would be under threat.
America and many countries support Israel out of a feeling of guilt.
We are all supposed to carry the guilt and as so many oblige in that then Israel and Zionists have a massive power over many powerful countries.
It is far easier to jail these historians and stop any debate, than to let them research and publish whether they are right or wrong.
By imprisoning these people whose views run contrary to the mainstream then all debate is effectively silenced.
The fact that they are imprisoned however will make SOME people wonder if there might be something in their revisionist research.

Myths? My word, you are messed up in the brain department. Either that, or you're just trying to start something. I could report you for this so-called question, but maybe you're just twisted because of some foul propaganda you've been fed. It was no myth that six million Jews were annihilated by the Nazis, that they were thrown into a giant gas chamber, that mere babies were torn from their mothers' arms and smashed against concrete. I have dear friends who are holocaust survivors, and believe me, it was no myth. If it had happened to six million Christians, there would probably have been no such thing as a "revisionist". Get your head on straight and don't talk like this, or it might get blown off.

The United States Army has just declassified an enormous storehouse of Nazi files that document the atrocities of the Holocaust. The only people creating a myth (or are attempting to) are the ones that say it never happened. American soldiers died in the liberation of the death camps - to say the holocaust never happened is to be a traitor to their sacrifice... and honor. The evidence for the Holocaust is overwhelming - the Nazi's were PROUD of what they did, so they documented it. We are using medical knowledge gained from the horrific experiments at the death camps - the experiments were DOCUMENTED - where do you think they got this information? Anybody that says the Holocaust never happened is an ignorant fool.

The same reason Copernicus was imprisoned. Those in power are threatened by the truth.
