I can so relate. Just so happens I just got done watching the Grudge 2 with my husband. Needless to say Im here now and its way after midnight. lol.
Just try not to think of the movie itself. I try to keep a light on and read to get my mind off of it. OR come on the computer. Eventually I calm down and able to go to bed.
Good luck. Try to avoid the movies that scare you. I only watched it because my husband kept begging me all day. I think he loves to see my cry and listen to my yelp.

i use to be the same way. i'd go to scary movies with my friends and walk out. i'd get nightmares. but gradually, the more i watched them, the more i became ok with them. it went from no scary movies, to only watching rented scary movies during the day. now i can watch them late night at the theater (closing my eyes a lot of the time)
it's really depends on the person though. some people can't do it, and that's ok. you shouldn't feel stupid. you arent alone. =D

ooo I have that prob too. But really--time kills pain, and you'll get over it. Just watch some comedy or even set your TV and fall asleep with it on quietly. Or leave some lights on and leave open all of your inside doors so you have less suspicions.

Its funny that you mentioned SAW 4. I saw it like a month ago and I think it was the most disturbing one...ugh! The SAW movies scare me everytime I watch them, but I keep on watching cuz they always keep you in suspense at the end.I have to sleep with the lights on for a few days after I watch em lol. Especially since I don't have a boyfriend to sleep with me!

watch cartoons before u go to sleep. i find this used to hellp me wen i was younger. otherwise do what io do now. face your fears. i thni kthats the best way to overcome them. i used to be a fraid of the dark and stuff and slept with a light and/or tv on. then one day i just got sick of being afraid and just left everything off and just stood their . it helped me a lot

Don't watch them...
I don't watch scary movies because I get scared and it haunts me.
It is better to be in denial on this one... smile.
