Before John F. Kennedy was elected president it was NOT considered OK for a Catholic to be a member of the Ku Klux Klan, but after JFK got to be president of the United States, this was changed. Therefore, if Barack Obama gets elected president of the United States, will it be OK for blacks to join the KKK?

To "Cool is f..." below - it is DEFINITELY something to joke about - their out-of-date thinking is something that should be a thing of the past. They DESERVE to be joked about!

The klan is a unique entity. It promotes bigotry violence and hate, under the guise of white pride, and refusal to integrate.

Even though the klans motivations are suspect, if they do not act under anything which is illegal by law, they are protected by our constitution.

If we were to re-write the constitution, I guarantee you, the klan would not be allowed to exist.
