my burner only supports dvd/rw disc what can ido to burn my movies into dvd-/+r format please help in really confused about these kind of stuff

Like the other guy said, thr "rw" just means rewritable, so it does either +r or -r or both also. There's not a burner in existence that ONLY uses rewritable ("dvd/rw") discs. Try a +r or -r disc-- one of them will work, I guarantee it.

have you tried it??it should work. A dvd burner burns any dvd. But if you have a old dvd burner than it burns only what it can support like -r or +r. But no such thing as only rw.

Hi. The "RW" means you can re-record. The "+ or - R" is a format. You can use whichever you find more reliable. (In my case I have better luck with DVD+R.) YMMV.

If it only supports those disks, then those are the only ones you can burn on it.
