I run a site for women who are struggling with the diagnosis of miscarriage and a favorite among many of the women in Held by Natalie Grant.

Let me find the lyrics...

------------

Held

Two months is too little
They let him go
They had no sudden healing
To think that providence would
Take a child from his mother while she prays
Is appalling

Who told us we’d be rescued?
What has changed and why should we be saved from nightmares?
We’re asking why this happens
To us who have died to live?
It’s unfair

Chorus:
This is what it means to be held
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we’d be held

This hand is bitterness
We want to taste it, let the hatred NUMB our sorrow
The wise hands opens slowly to lilies of the valley and tomorrow

(Chorus) ...
This is what it means to be held
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we’d be held

Bridge:
If hope is born of suffering
If this is only the beginning
Can we not wait for one hour watching for our Savior?

(Chorus)
This is what it means to be held
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we’d be held

I've just had my second miscarriage in 6 months and am basically still a trainwreck. I've also been looking for a song that I can indentify with, though it's hard, this is the best one, I personally have come up with... Artist: Rascal Flatts Title: What Hurts the Most I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house, that don't bother me I can take a few tears now and then and just let them out I'm not afraid to cry Every once in a while even though goin on with you gone still upsets me There are days Every now and again i pretend i'm okay but that's not what gets me What hurts the most, was being so close And having so much to say And watchin you walk away Never knowing, what could have been And not seein that lovin you Is what i was tryin to do It's hard to deal with the pain of losing you everywhere i go But i'm doin it It's hard to force that smile when i see our old friends and i'm alone Still harder gettin up, gettin dressed, livin with this regret But i know if i could do it over I would trade, give away all the words that i saved in my heart that i left unspoken What hurts the most, is being so close And having so much to say And watchin you walk away Never knowing, what could have been And not seein that lovin you Is what i was tryin to do What hurts the most, was being so close And having so much to say And watchin you walk away And never knowing, what could have been And not seein that lovin you Is what i was tryin to do not seein that lovin you that’s what I was tryin to do… Best Wishes to you. I honestly feel like there is hope for the both of us....

There are some really sweet songs about miscarriage on this site towards the bottom of the page: http://www.pregnancyloss.info/resources.htm.
If you or someone you're close to is going through a miscarriage, you have my prayers and sympathy. I had a miscarriage last week and I know how hard it is.

Sammylee, thank you for the songs you shared. They were really beautiful and meaningful.

yes ther is.
I know a cupel they are all in swedish thous and not on any record label or anything like that.
I know one is a mother singing to her litel angel that stod in the dorway to life. She is singing to her douther abut all the hopes she had for her in life that now was not furfild, she also sings abut how mutsh she still is was and always will be her baby girl and part of her life. How she wishes that here baby was never UNDONE event even if the memory is hard to cary she was wanted loved and will always be unike for what she gave in here short existns in her mothers life.

Anothe song is also in the angel theam.
An angel came and went a way so quick.
Not even a butterflys kiss she got.
But she/he was here,
We feelt it , we save it,
Even hiden form daylight life was with in this angels reatsh.
Maby now was not the time for angels,
Maby sone it will be time for angels to travel to this life.
maby sone our Angel will be with us again.

hope that helped some.

It's not about miscarriage, but about a dead child. Eric Clapton's "Tears In Heaven"

Tears In Heaven
by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?

I must be strong
And carry on,
'Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven.

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?

I'll find my way
Through night and day,
'Cause I know I just can't stay
Here in heaven.

Time can bring you down,
Time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart,
Have you begging please, begging please.

Beyond the door,
There's peace I'm sure,
And I know there'll be no more
Tears in heaven.

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?

I must be strong
And carry on,
'Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven.
